We hereby inform our customers that, effective January 01, 2021, the DFC will be reinstating its Late Payment Penalty Fee charge of BZD, Thirty- Five Dollars [$35].
Charges will be applied directly to all loan accounts where payments are made five [5] calendar days after the due date.
We encourage all our customers to make loan payments on time to avoid additional charges to their accounts. We kindly remind our customers of the following:
- Ensure that the amount paid is not less than the required amount.
- If paying through a bank [over the counter or online], ensure that your payment is made no later than the agreed repayment date so that your payment is applied to your DFC account on time. Please note: payments made through the banks are received by the DFC on the next working day.
- When paying through the banks, it is important to ensure that the deposit slip indicates the correct DFC loan account number and the beneficiary’s name.
- For bank payments, we encourage you to kindly forward a copy of the deposit slip to payments@dfcbelize.org to ensure that your loan payment is applied accordingly.
