On September 19, 2014, The Development Finance Corporation [DFC] joined Belize in commemorating National Service Day by delivering Care Packages to patients of the Belmopan Western Regional Hospital.
At about 2 p.m. smiles and other expressions of elation from patients, nurses and doctors alike, filled the Belmopan Hospital as DFC staff visited the various wards, giving Care Packages to male, female and child patients. The 60 Care Packages contained useful items for a patient’s stay, with toys being an additional gift given to children.
The Development Finance Corporation recognizes the importance of organizations to support the call for increased community involvement, especially on National Service Day.
The Development Finance Corporation extends a heartfelt ‘Thank You!’ to the staff of the Belmopan Western Regional Hospital who assisted in making DFC’s National Service Day initiative a success.
